Without the generosity of area residents and businesses, it would be impossible for Miranda's Rescue to do the work that it does. While we can't individually thank all of the people who make this work possible, here are some very special donors.
Ferndale Veterinary 1140 Van Ness Ave, Ferndale, has been the primary provider of veterinary care for Miranda's Rescue since its inception.
Myrtle Avenue Veterinary Hospital and SunnyBrae Animal Clinic also provide services for the Rescue's animals.
McKinleyville Animal Care Center accepts pet food donations for the shelter and makes many donations.
The Farm Store hosts adoption events and provides us with discounted supplies.
Pierson's, Forbusco Lumber, and Wise Flooring have donated building materials for our renovated kitten room and infirmary, as well as for other projects.
Gary Gaiera's 3rd grade class (school year 2003-04) at the Equinox Center for Education in Arcata painted our beautiful welcoming sign, also seen at the top of our homepage.
Thank you to Mendes Supply for the donation of lots and lots of cat litter.
Thank you to Fortuna Sunrise Rotary and Pierson's Building Center (again), for helping to make our feline hospital a reality.
Special thanks to Avalon Restaurant, in Eureka, for hosting our first annual "A Fur to Remember" benefit dinner, and to Cherie Arkley, Gailey Browning, Beverley Wolfe, and Pamela Murphy for organizing the event.
Thank you to our Roofs for Rover donors, whose donations help provide shelter from the elements for our dogs.
